What's the best method of drying flowers? Ive heard about using silca and borax. Any experience out there?

I use silica, it seems to work fine.. I also just hang them up, that seems to work aswhell.

What type of flowers are you wanting to dry?
We have used silica, you need quite a bit of it and it's slow going but you can use the silica in conjunction with the microwave, use the defrost setting for about 2 to 2 1/2 minutes, then let them sit for awhile.
For hydrangea and a few others, just hanging them upside down in a dark place and letting air circulate around them works.
The best method, is of course, the one you like the best :lol: and I prefer to hang the ones that I can and then use the silica and microwave for the others.
