Hi,
How much oil is supposed to come out of the roller in a roller bottle? I made up some lip gloss and don't get much oil coming out of t he roller. The amount of oil that I am getting is nothing like the store bought ones. Thanks, Robin xxx

Hi,
I used castor oil, vegetable glycerin and food coloring. I was trying to make a lava lip gloss. I also made a roll on perfume using FCO and FO. I still don't get anything coming out of the roller. This was at Christmas time and I am now getting back to trying to make the rollers give out more. Thanks, Robin xxx

I've made those before using roller bottles from Bayousome and they worked out great. Maybe it's the bottles you are using?

Was this your recipe?
50% Vegetable Glycerin 50% Castor Oil Flavor oil, to your taste (note that flavor oil is not a part of the formulation as it's really a preference as to how much you'll add) One Drop per bottle of FD&C dye. In two separate bowls, you will pour the desired amount of glycerin in one bowl, and castor oil in the other. Mix in your flavor oil. You can start at 3% flavor (i.e. if you're using 2 oz. of glycerin or castor, you'll need .06 oz. of flavor). It will be to your taste. Pour some in, mix it well with a spoon (don't worry about creating bubbles in your oil, they will settle out). Dab a little on your lips and taste it. You'll know when you have enough. Mix the flavor into both the castor and the glycerin. Now, take one of your roller bottles and fill it half full with the glycerin/flavor oil mixture. Add just ONE drop of FD&C dye (our hobby dyes work great). Then, fill the bottle up the rest of the way with the castor/flavor oil mixture. Push the roller into the bottle and VOILA! You're done!! :) xxx
